"Mortal Kombat X" game director Ed Boon has teased fans for numerous times already regarding the much-anticipated release of the new DLC pack. Many gamers believe that the Kombat Pack 3 will be released very soon, as Boone has repeatedly posted messages on Twitter regarding the upcoming DLC. Unfortunately, there is no solid confirmation yet about the release of a new DLC pack this year, as well as the possible contents of Kombat Pack 3.

Even with the absence of reliable information, there is nothing to stop the fans from gathering info and so far, it appears that the Kombat Pack 3 will be adding more characters in the huge roster of "Mortal Kombat X." According to Movie News Guide, the next "Mortal Kombat X" Kombat Pack will be featuring a new environment and settings to expand the game's universe.  The Kombat Pack 2 also added new maps and design for the game, so it is expected that the Kombat Pack 3 will do the same. As for the characters, the online publication only noted the plea of majority of the gamers to make Baraka as a playable character.

So far, it is rumored that Baraka will indeed become an official part of the "Mortal Kombat X" roster after two DLC packs. As reported by Ecumenical News, Baraka will be among the new batch of fighters along with Noob Saibot, Baraka, Fujin, Sindel and Rain. To recall, the character of Baraka was already introduced in Kombat Pack 2. However, he was only referenced in a few scenes and the players are still not able to use the character.

Baraka is a special character and a crossbreed warrior between denizens of Outworld and demons of Netherealm, which happen to serve Emperor Shao Kahn.

"Mortal Kombat X" is the latest installment in the "Mortal Kombat" video game series developed by NetherRealm Game Studios, and later on published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It was first released worldwide on April 14, 2015, and is now playable on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
