Motorola Moto E3 release date, specs news: Smartphone passes FCC certification, ready for September release?

The upcoming Motorola Moto E3 has been getting a lot of attention lately. According to reports, the upcoming device will hit the U.S. market before the year ends.

According to Phone Arena, previous reports have already shown the smartphone being certified by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission or FCC. The FCC certification allegedly confirms the launching of the handset in September.

There are speculations circulating all over the Internet saying that Motorola and Lenovo may launch the new Moto E3 in the U.K. earlier than everywhere else in the world. According to the reports, the company has already decided on an August release in the U.K. However, both Motorola and its new owner, Lenovo, have yet to confirm these reports.

Motorola has already provided some significant information about the new device. During its announcement, the company said that the Moto E3 will have a 5-inch screen with 720p HD display. It will run on a quad-core processor; however, they have yet to reveal which brand of chipset they are going to use. The company has also not given any detail as to how much RAM will the phone carries.

According to Android Headlines, the latest leaked information allegedly revealed that the device will have a MediaTek processor with a speed of 1.0Ghz. There are also speculations suggesting that the handset may only have 1 GB RAM, which is exactly the same size as its predecessor.

Other features of the Motorola Moto E3 include an 8 MP primary camera and a 2,800mAh battery. There are also reports saying that the smartphone will sport an 8 GB of internal storage with an option to expand it to 32 GB via microSD.

Meanwhile, TechRadar reported that the Motorola Moto E3 will run on Android Marshmallow.

People expect Motorola to provide more details about the device before its final launch date. As of the moment, the company has yet to release an official statement regarding its launch date.
