Motorola Moto M release date, specs news update: New key details of smartphone revealed
Motorola appears to be pretty busy this year with rumored releases before the year ends. One of the rumored devices that caught the attention of several tech observers is the Motorola Moto M. According to the report, the upcoming smartphone will most likely come out late this year. Leaked details about the device have also surfaced online giving tech fans something to get excited about.
The rumor sparked when recent GFXBench details about the Motorola Moto M emerged on the internet revealing its key specs. According to the report, the device may arrive in two variants as it shows two model numbers—the XT1663 and XT1662.
According to the benchmarking website, the Moto M XT1663 will carry a 4.6-inch screen with a 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It will run on a Mediatek MT6750 octa-core processor with a speed of 1.9GHz. The powerful processor will be paired with 3 GB of RAM and a 32 GB internal storage capacity.
The rumored smartphone is also expected to arrive with a 16 MP primary camera with a single LED flash feature. It will also sport an 8 MP front-facing snapper, which is expected to have full HD video recording capability. There are also reports suggesting that the Motorola Moto M, which model number is XT1663, appears to have the same exterior design as the previous Moto G smartphones that first came out in 2014.
Meanwhile, in a report by BGR, the Motorola Moto M with a model number XT1662 has recently received a TENAA certification. According to the publication, the new handset will feature a fingerprint scanner and a 3000 mAh battery. Apparently, the Moto M XT1662 has a bigger screen size than the Moto M XT1663 at 5.5 inches.
As of the moment, Motorola has yet to confirm its rumored new smartphone. However, fans expect the company to make an official announcement anytime soon.
