'Mr. Robot' season 2 spoilers news: Stars reveal pressure from show's success? Show gets additional episodes and live aftershow?

Here's good news for fans of USA's "Mr. Robot" – the hacker drama isn't only returning for its second season next week but it will also have a live aftershow that would give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the breakout drama.

The good news was shared by no less than the network itself. Chris McCumber, president for Entertainment Networks, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, said that the aftershow titled "Hacking Robot" would give the audience an idea of what season 2 has in store for them, what with Sam Esmail, the creator, and team promising that they "have raised the bar even more in season two."

In an interview with Deadline, McCumber said, "From the first moments of the new season, it'll be clear that audiences are in for something incredibly special and wholly unexpected."

Andy Greenwald, who co-hosted "After the Thrones" (a "Game of Thrones" aftershow program) on HBO, will be hosting "Hacking Robot."

Incidentally, fans would be happy to know that the Golden Globe-winning hacker drama will have 12 episodes this season. Esmail will be directing all 12 episodes of "Mr. Robot" season 2.

The undeniable success of "Mr. Robot" has made its lead star, Rami Malek, a household name. Season 1 has defied expectations, and now that season 2 is set to air in a matter of days, viewers are eager to find out if it can replicate or even surpass the maiden season's achievement.

"That's a lot of pressure, right? To have a show you thought wouldn't reach many people, might not, might just be a cult hit...to have garnered the attention we have and the critical acclaim is something that is very powerful," Malek, who plays Elliot on the series, told E! News.

He also said that while the prospect excites him and makes him genuinely proud, it makes for a humbling experience, too.

On the other hand, Christian Slater, who plays Mr. Robot, said they are "in such good hands with [creator] Sam Esmail...he's been prepared for this whole journey really from the get-go, so that's been wonderful."

Meanwhile, according to Screen Crush, one of the questions that next week's season 2 premiere will answer is concerning the fate of Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallström) who mysteriously disappeared before last year's finale. The recently released clips for season 2, which are shown below, would give viewers a glimpse of what really happened in his and Elliot's missing night.
