'Naruto Shippuden' spoilers news: Sasuke challenges Naruto in a great battle; More filler episodes coming up?

The previous episode of "Naruto Shippuden" already provided the breath-taking conclusion of Kaguya Otsutsuki's saga. To recall, Kaguya, the mother of the Sage of Six Paths, has managed to revive herself out of the body of Uchija Madara. Being the progenitor of chakra, the duo of Naruto and Sasuke found it difficult to defeat an enemy as powerful as Kaguya. Thanks to the special sealing jutsu given by the Sage of Six Paths to Naruto and Sasuke, the two were able to defeat Kaguya. With the help of Sakura and Kakashi, the last enemy of the Shinobi world was finally vanquished. Unfortunately, more chaos is about to unfold in the coming episodes.

As recapped by Movie News Guide, the previous episode showed the defeat of Kaguya and her right-hand man, Black Zetsu. The Sage of Six Paths has given his final blessing before he and the other departed ninjas disappear from the world of the living. The viewers also saw Madara Uchija for the last time, whose body had already begun to decay. As everything seems to be peaceful already with Kaguya already sealed, Sasuke appears to have a bone to pick with Naruto even after the war. Sasuke used his Rinnegan to trap all the tailed beasts, including Naruto's bijuu, Kurama, and challenged Naruto to a fight.

With this, the coming episodes of "Naruto Shippuden" will feature the great fight between Sasuke and Naruto, who was equally shared with the power of the Sage of Six Paths. On the other hand, Enstarz reported that the final episode of the hit anime series will be Episode 500. By the looks of it, the series still has a long way to go even if the anime is already on the very last arc of the original "Naruto" manga. If the anime series will closely follow the contents of the manga, then "Naruto Shippuden" would already be ending soon.

However, as the anime series will begin the Naruto versus Sasuke arc with Episode 475, it is possible that the series may be inserting more contents that are non-canon to manga. Meaning, the fans may be seeing more filler episodes in between the Naruto versus Sasuke episodes.
