2k Sports has finally revealed the first official screenshots from the upcoming "NBA 2k17." The gamers were delighted to see a lot of news things in the teaser images, but the most interesting part of the reveal is the video game version of the Team USA that is going to compete in this month's 2016 Rio Olympics.

It is very timely that 2k Sports has included the official basketball team that will represent the United States in the Rio Olympics 2016. Interestingly, the screenshots also include the original Dream Team of the United States back in 1992. The Dream Team shown in the "NBA 2k17" images are Charles Barkley and Scottie Pippen.

The Dream Team may not be included in the regular purchase of "NBA 2k17" as this content is only being offered as a bonus to those who have made the pre-orders.

On the other hand, 2k Sports also teased the fans with the first look of the newly redesigned cards of the MyTeam mode. The revealed MyTeam cards are those of Paul George, Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan. Like the Dream Team, the special MyTeam cards are only available for those who pre-ordered the "NBA 2k17" Kobe Bryant Gold Edition.

"NBA 2k17" senior producer Erick Boenisch meanwhile turned to his official Facebook account to post a blog regarding the new feature of the basketball video game called the League Expansion. As the feature's name suggests, it is expected to expand the 30-team NBA league depending on the players preferred options to start his own league.

Creating a personal league is also featured in the previous "NBA 2k16" where the players can build new teams and create their respective logos, arenas, and uniforms.

It was already announced that the lead basketball star of "NBA 2k17" standard edition cover is Indiana Pacers' Paul George, while the Legend Edition and Legend Gold Edition will feature the newly-retired Kobe Bryant. 2K Sports has already revealed some of the faces that will complete the cover art of the upcoming basketball video game "NBA 2k17." One of the front faces of the game cover is Cleveland Cavalier's point guard Kyrie Irving.
