EA Sports has announced a new roster of updates for its simulated basketball gaming title "NBA Live 15," a game that has become more reflective of the real happenings in the N.B.A.

In its official blog, the sports videogame developer described the March 18 release of "NBA Liove 15" as a huge update that will see changes in nearly 3,800 ratings.

The update includes "accessory updates for 24 players with new sleeves, pads, socks, and shoes providing up-to-the-minute style and accuracy," the blog post stated.

"In Sunday's win over the Nuggets, (Anthony) Davis became the first player since blocks were recorded (30 seasons) to have at least 36 points, 14 rebounds, nine blocks, and seven assists in a single NBA game," the post said.

"Despite this historic effort, the Pelicans won 118-111 at home in double overtime to the Nuggets. For his efforts, Anthony Davis gets a +1 OVR to 92," it added.

The other player who has seen his ratings go up is Damian Lillard of the Portland Trail Blazers, whose overall ratings went to 89 with his achievements in last week's match against the Houston Rockets, which the Trail Blazers won.

"The injury to Wesley Matthews hurts the Blazers backcourt tremendously, but they still have Damian Lillard. Lillard helped the Trail Blazers knock off the Rockets last week with 14 points, five boards and eight dimes," the post read.

"Not a great game for Lillard, but clutch enough to up his rating +1 OVR to 89," it added.

EA Sports also clarified that NBA Live 15's partnership with Synergy Sports brings player ratings to life "as real-time analytics and data are used to shape the way players perform in the game."

"Synergy's information tells us things that don't appear in the box score, such as shots off the dribble or if a player was being guarded, which all influence ratings," EA Sports explained.

"One of the goals we have for the future of NBA Live is to remove subjectivity from player ratings and performance – a true 1:1 representation of each and every player in the league," it added.

"NBA Live 15" was released on Oct. 28, 2014 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
