Initially dubbed as a playoff team, the Washington Wizards have struggled in the early parts of the season and now find themselves with a 2-7 record and last in the Southeast Division.

Their last game was a 105-94 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers and now people are starting to wonder if the Wizards have the right formula to go against the bigger players in the Eastern Conference.

As a result, there have been talks that the team may trade one of their biggest pieces and it may happen in the middle of this season. John Wall may possibly be moving out of the nation's capital before the February deadline.

Despite being the team's best player, Wall may have failed in carrying the team to presumed greater heights, and Washington may now be looking forward to rebuilding without Wall in tow.

Picked first overall in the 2010 draft, Wall has had a stellar career so far. He averages 18.3 points and 9.0 assists per game throughout the years, improving a little bit this season by scoring 21.3 points and dishing out 9.2 assists in the first six games.

Unfortunately, it has not translated to long playoff runs for the team and they are often still outside looking in against the other teams they should be competing with.

The Wizards have put some pieces around Wall, with the biggest names being Bradley Beal as a capable backcourt partner and Marcin Gortat as a capable big man who can clog the middle.

However, it has not translated to wins and it is likely that Wall will be dealt so the Wizards can get some pieces for a quick rebuild.

Wall has a deal with the team until the 2018-19 season and this year, he is set to earn around $16.9 million. If the Wizards can offload that for a number of players, then they can bounce back sooner than later.
