NBA trade rumors: talks between Warriors and Celtics not over

It appears that the talk between the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics are far from over.

Initially, there were talks involving the two teams that saw one of the game's best shooters possibly moving out of his team. The Warriors had Klay Thompson struggling and many suggested that he was unhappy with the way things were going with the Warriors and that a trade was imminent.

With that, rumors started to circulate that the Celtics were a likely destination for the streaky shooter. Despite being shot down by Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, it seems that it is still being talked about as it has sent shock waves around the league.

Now, it appears that the team's general managers are worried that this rumor might actually come true, and they are fearing for how strong the Warriors might actually be if the deal falls through.

Based on rumors, Avery Bradley and Jae Crowder are the names linked to a move for Thompson if the deal exists. And looking at Sam Amico's tweet, it appears that the NBA GMs are alarmed.

It seems that Thompson does not fit in the group anymore as he is overshadowed by the partnership of Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry in Golden State.

But if the deal brings the Warriors Crowder and Bradley, two feisty players who put defense first, then the team would definitely be unstoppable.

Many believe the biggest chink in Golden State's offensive armor is in the defensive end. They have a relatively weak interior defense and have a shallow bench that could be threatened by teams just as strong.

However, if Crowder and Bradley are on the floor, they can concentrate on defending and just leave the scoring to the rest of the Warriors.

Until now, it remains to be seen how this will work out, or if there is actually any truth to this, but it is a scary possibility for those who are hoping to beat the Warriors.
