Recent NBA trade rumors involve New Orleans Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis possibly transferring to a different NBA team.

According to Game N Guide, Davis is a great basketball talent, and he is a player who could usher a new era for the sport and possibly change it completely. Hence, it is a dire need for the power forward to be traded. His talents are allegedly wasted on the New Orleans Pelicans team, which is evident from the fact that he has served the team for 4 years, but the team has yet to win a single playoff game. As the NBA team's chances of being a title contender in the foreseeable future look bleak, Davis himself may demand the trade.

As to where the Pelicans power forward could be heading to, there are speculations that the Golden State Warriors team is his likely destination should he be traded by his current basketball team.

As reported by The Inquisitr, there are also trade scenarios circulating all over the internet in which the Golden State Warriors would be receiving Anthony Davis and point guard Langston Galloway. In exchange for this trade, the Pelicans will obtain a package which includes Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, as well as Golden State's first-round draft pick in 2017.

Should the trade actually take place, it would be a lucrative one for the Golden State Warriors, according to the ESPN NBA Trade Machine. With the potential trade, the team could increase its projected wins by six.

There are also speculations that Davis should also be traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder in order to have a possibly ground-breaking partnership with the team's Russell Westbrook. The rumored trade will have Davis transfer to the Thunder, and in exchange, the Oklahoma City team will be giving Victor Oladipo, Cameron Payne, Steven Adams, and a first round pick in 2017 to the New Orleans Pelicans.

For now, there are only rumors that Davis will be traded away to another team. However, if it is true that Davis is frustrated with his current team's performance despite his individual productivity, transferring to a better team may not be so impossible after all.
