'NCIS' 12 Spoilers, Air Date: Gibbs' Ex-Wife to Appear; McGee's Girlfriend To Return

When "NCIS" returns on CBS on Jan. 6, we will be seeing Rebecca, one of Gibbs' ex-wives. In the episode entitled "Check," Jeri Ryan will be playing the role of Gibbs' ex-wife.

This was revealed by Sean Murray in an interview with Zap2it. "We get to meet one of Gibbs' mystery ex-wives soon. That's not necessarily what I'm talking about as far as the surprises and the twists, but there's some pretty surprising stuff that comes up and I'll definitely be looking to see the reaction to that one," he said.

"There's some stuff coming up in January that's going to be pretty surprising. I wish I could [say more]... You'll know it when you see it!" Murray added.

The synopsis for Season 12 Episode 11 of NCIS reads: "The NCIS team investigate a series of crime scenes that appear to be copycats of previous cases. Meanwhile, two of Gibbs' ex-wives show up at a crime scene to discuss something important with him."

While Gibbs will be surprised by his ex's appearance, it will also affect his work and composure in front of other people. However, we will also be seeing Gibbs being ambushed by this same ex-wife in a crime scene.

Other characters will also be returning, such as Delilah (Margo Harshman), who is McGee's long distance girlfriend living in Dubai. It looks like it's going to be a "happy new year" indeed for McGee.
