New England Patriots vs Seattle Seahawks Live Stream: How to Watch Super Bowl XLIX Free Online (NBC TV Info)
The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will vie for the championship in Super Bowl XLIX on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona. The game will be shown on TV on the NBC network, and will be available to watch online via live stream on NBC Sports.
New England quarterback Tom Brady said they want to be the team to win as they have aimed for the ultimate victory from the start. "There are 32 teams that started and now there are two remaining. We're trying to be the one that finishes off the season the way you want to, the way we wanted to from the start of the year," he said, according to NFL.
For Seahawks' Russel Wilson, playing against New England is a treat. "We're looking forward to the opportunity to play a great team in the Patriots with a great coach and a great quarterback. We have a lot of respect for them and what they do. We're just grateful to have the opportunity," he said.
The Seahawks will be led by running back Marshawn Lynch whose stats include more than 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns for the fourth consecutive season, the NFL said.
Wilson has a 36-12 record, the most wins by a quarterback in his first three seasons. Coach Pete Carroll aims to become the seventh coach to lead a team to consecutive Super Bowl titles.
The Patriots will be bannered by quarterback Tom Brady, tight end Rob Grownkowski and coach Bill Belichick.
Brady has a 20-8 stat in postseason and 3-2 in Super Bowl while Gronkowski "has more receiving touchdowns during his first five seasons than any tight end in NFL history (55)."
New England's journey to the Super Bowl came when they defeated Indianapolis while Seahawks overcame Green Bay.
Wilson is proud of their teamwork. "We really care about each other. We work for each other. We want to be the best for a reason," he said.
Before the game starts, Idina Menzel will sing the national anthem while John Legend will perform "America the Beautiful."
The Super Bowl half-time show will feature Katy Perry with Lenny Kravitz as special guest.
