Despite already ending his professional basketball career, Kobe Bryant is still easily one of the biggest influences when it comes to performance shoes, and Nike understand that as they recently released the Nike Kobe 11 Elite 4KB "Red Horse."

The shoe, which was released Wednesday, June 1, continues the tradition of Bryant's low-cut silhouette and flyknit technology.

Nicknamed "Red Horse," it obviously takes its name from an earlier release called "White Horse" where the majority of the shoes' upper is of a white colorway.

For the "Red Horse," red can be seen from the forefoot all the way to the medial and lateral side of the shoe, before ending to have a hit of white in the heel.

The upper is made with lightweight Flyknit technology which allows easy movement on the foot, allowing the shoe to hug the foot when movement is done for that perfect one-to-one fit, while remaining breathable due to the material.

Aside from the heel, white hits can also be seen on the tongue – with the Kobe logo – and the white swoosh gives the pair a good contrast on the lateral side.

The ankle collar is heavily padded that gives the shoe wearer great support on the ankles, while still allowing ample movement as the low-cut style is not restrictive.

Looking at the outsole, the shoe is made up of three colors, red, white and a translucent outsole that should provide ample traction – as long as the court to be played on is relatively clean and regular wiping is used.

Priced at $220, this is a decent hooping shoe and an even more beautiful casual kick to wear.

As of this writing, it has already been released on SNRKS, FootLocker, RISE and Livestock.

Is this an automatic cop for Kobe fans? Or you are not a big fan of this colorway?
