Nintendo NX release date news 2016: 'Dragon Quest XI' will be coming to NX?
Despite its announcement, people still have a lot to know more about Nintendo's upcoming gaming console, the NX. As of the moment, little details have been shared about it; however, new reports confirmed another game to be tied with its highly anticipated release.
During his interview with Nintendo Dream magazine, Japanese video game designer Yuji Horii said that "Dragon Quest XI" will be released along with the NX console.
"Dragon Quest XI," which Yuji has created, is the eleventh main series entry in the franchise and currently in development for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS. Soon enough, fans will be able to experience the game on another platform.
Yuji has initially revealed that "Dragon Quest XI" will be released on Nintendo NX; however, game developer Square Enix said that it was only an option they have considered.
The series creator has also revealed that all three versions of the game will be launched at the same time.
Square Enix and Yuji have yet to provide the release date specifics of the new game; however, the upcoming Nintendo NX is already slated to be launched worldwide in March 2017.
A few games have already been announced to be rolled out along with Nintendo's next gaming console. This includes the "The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild," "Super Smash Bros.," "Super Smash Bros. Melee," " F-Zero^2" "Pokemon Gold" and "Pokemon Silver."
Meanwhile, 4chan reported that the NX will specifically come out on March 10 next year. According to the publication, Nintendo will change the name of the console from NX to Nintendo Focus. The report also says that the company will host an event on Sept. 21 to reveal the upcoming console.
However, Nintendo has yet to confirm these reports. The company is expected to provide an official statement with regard to the release of the NX anytime soon. Until then, all rumors and speculations must be taken with a grain of salt.
