Nintendo NX release date, news, rumors: Latest Nintendo console to launch March 2017 with $300 tag price?
Nintendo already announced earlier this year that they will release their next powerful home console after Wii U. Dubbed as Nintendo NX, it is expected to be the biggest gadget offering so far from the Japanese electronic gaming company, packing with new high tech features that rival those of today's leading consoles, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A target release of March 2017 was set by the company, and if the latest rumors are to be believed, Nintendo may be able to catch up with their own deadline next year.
According to Yibada, the Nintendo NX will be released on time in March next year. In fact, Nintendo is said to have already prepared at least four game titles to go with the Nintendo NX launch. Some of the NX playable game titles are the latest "Zelda" game installment and "Mario."
Moreover, together with the four sample NX video games, the Nintendo NX will be released sometime in March as the company seems to not have any problems in developing the said gadget. The online publication also reported that the console will have a base price of $299.99, which is less expensive compared to the other home consoles available in the market today.
Express UK also reported that Nintendo NX will be sold in the market starting in March with an introductory price of $300 USD, or around £250 in the United Kingdom.
Express UK also noted the recent leak regarding the design of the upcoming Nintendo console. It was first reported that the Nintendo NX will be a hybrid console, which is part handheld gadget and part home-based console. Moreover, the Nintendo NX is said to have three components. The first component is a dock that has cartridge slot, HDD and a TV output. The second component is going to serve as a performance module to port the device with its own power supply. Lastly, the final component will be the handheld device itself, with a size of 6 inches and 720p screen.
