Nintendo NX release date, news, rumors: New console to reintroduce game cartridge

There is an interesting comeback that today's generation of gamers must watch out for with the anticipated launching of Nintendo NX next year. The game cartridges from the 90's and early 2000's in the early home console versions is now rumored to make a return as Nintendo is planning to use them in the upcoming gaming platform.

So far, the confirmed details remain scarce regarding the specs and features of Nintendo NX. All the public know so far from the Japanese electronic gaming company is that Nintendo NX will be the biggest home console yet from them. Every rumor may still be up in the air at this point, but there is one very interesting speculation from the tech enthusiasts that the classic game cartridge is set to appear once again next year with the launching of NX. Game N Guide reported that Nintendo might be considering the game cartridge for the latest console, although the online publication said that its possible for the company to use other portable device instead.

EA Games and Ubisoft are reported to develop their upcoming video games that will be compatible with Nintendo NX. This thrilled many gaming fans, especially for those who are rooting for Nintendo's latest gaming graphics technology that will be applied in NX.

According to the latest rumors, Nintendo prefers to release their next console offering in March 2017. Earlier, it was thought that Nintendo NX will arrive this 2016, but postponing the release date might be important to further improve its features. Nintendo big boss and renowned game developer, Shigeru Miyamoto, was the first to spill the latest developments regarding Nintendo NX's supposed launching this year. He stated that Nintendo is taking all the time it can have to develop the console, especially that the company is planning to add a mysterious feature on NX.

"In terms of NX, there's an idea that we're working on. That's why we can't sharing anything at this point. It is just a matter of following advancements in technology, things would be coming out a lot quicker," Miyamoto told the Associated Press (AP) via Trusted Reviews. While it is not confirmed, there have been rumors that the last feature to be appended to Nintendo NX is the VR capability.
