Nintendo NX release date news: Upcoming console more likely to be released March 2017
Nintendo has already confirmed that it will be launching a new home console that will revolutionize the gaming world. This is expected to be the biggest console yet from the Japanese electronic gaming company, and it may even surpass the feats achieved by its direct predecessor, Wii U. Dubbed as Nintendo NX, the special console is rumored to come in the coming months. However, Nintendo has net yet released the official details regarding the device's launching.
When Nintendo first announced their plans to develop a special home console that aims to change the course of the gaming world, the public was given no idea on what to expect with Nintendo's mystery device. Nevertheless, the gaming enthusiasts are already hyped for its release. According to Yibada, it is possible that the mass production of Nintendo NX will take place very soon. However, it is also possible that the production of Nintendo NX is already happening as of the moment. The rumors are rife that the new Nintendo NX units will be ready by the end of 2016, with possible unveiling to happen in December this year or January 2017. The official worldwide release of Nintendo NX in the markets is expected to take place in March 2017.
Game N Guide reported that Nintendo NX will be a very special device as it is expected to be a hybrid console. Meaning, the NX will be an interesting combination of a handheld gaming device and a home-based console. It will have a detachable controller system plus a base module that can be connected directly to the TV. Particularly, the detachable controller will have direction force feedback and motion control features that will allow the controller to vibrate when certain actions happen in the game or when the player was hit. The vibrations will vary in intensity and pulsing, depending on the action being done to or by the player.
As for Nintendo NX's core specifications, it is highly speculated that the device will feature the latest Nvidia Tegra Mobile chipset, providing the console with higher quality of graphics. Nvidia may event give up their own Shield Tablet upgrade for the upcoming Nintendo console.
