Nintendo NX release date, specs news: Nintendo unveils trailer for next-gen portable home console
Nintendo has just released the trailer for the Nintendo Switch, and a lot of fans and gamers online have already expressed their excitement for the upcoming device.
A new trailer has been released showcasing the features of the new console and the multiple options that players will have when they use it.
Some fans were disappointed when Nintendo wasn't able to unveil the Switch back during the 2016 Electronic Entertainment Expo. Along with the Sony's Playstation and Microsoft's Xbox, Nintendo consoles have always been more of the runt of the litter, despite being one of the most prominent console developers in the early days of video games.
The Nintendo Switch will allow players to connect their device to a television and play games on a bigger screen and it will also allow them to connect the controllers to the console itself and take it out while in public.
Playing the device while it's in portable mode will also give users the option to play with the controllers connected or disconnected from the main console. This will allow for more multiplayer options and makes the device another party favor.
Reports are also saying that the controllers will feature Wii-like elements like motion detection and vibrations, so players can have an authentic gaming experience when playing with the Nintendo Switch.
As for the games that players can expect to come with the Switch, it's confirmed that they will be able to get their hands on the new "Zelda" game, "The Legend of Zelda: The Breath of the Wild." They will also be able to play "Dragon Quest XI," "Just Dance 2017," and "Project Sonic 2017." The trailer also looks like it will let players play the remastered version of "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim."
The Nintendo Switch is expected for release on March 2017.
