The Nintendo Switch is probably the most-anticipated gaming device to arrive next year, and a new report has just revealed the hybrid hardware's specs.

According to Eurogamer, the specs leak first appeared on social media networks even before Nintendo's official reveal. Though many believe that the said features are fake or out of date, the publication confirmed that Nintendo has recently briefed developers with the same list of information. A reliable source claims that the 4K30 aspect of the specs was not mentioned during the developer presentation, but everything else was.

The Switch's CPU is reportedly built with four ARM Cortex A57 cores (max 2GHz), while the GPU has 256 CUDA cores (maximum 1GHz). The device is based on Nvidia's Tegra X1, and it has a 16 pixels/cycle texture plus 14.4 pixels/cycle fill. Operating with a shared VRAM, the console is equipped with 4 GB memory and 25.6 GB/s memory bandwidth. Additionally, it boasts 32 GB worth of system memory. In terms of display, the Switch has a 1080p60/4K30 video output. Its screen is a 6.2-inch IPS LCD with 1280x720 pixels and 10-point multi-touch support.

On another note, gaming industry analyst Michael Pachter has recently discussed the game creation process for the Switch during his show, "Pachter Factor." According to Pachter, developers have said that among the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch, the Switch turns out to be the "the easiest of the big three to develop for."

Considering Nintendo's struggles with third party publishers, it's important that the Switch is easy to develop for because that makes it cheaper for companies to produce games. As long as there is a sizeable player base and so long as the console can handle modern and high-quality games, game makers will continue to make titles for the said platform.

The Nintendo Switch comes out in March next year, and official details about the new console will be revealed during a private event for investors and the media, which is scheduled to happen in January 2017.
