"No Man's Sky" came out with such high expectations from gamers that when they actually played it, they were apparently disappointed with the gameplay. Hello Games addressed the negative feedback by promising to release an update that will somehow improve the overall gaming experience.

Hello Games, however, went quiet after its update announcement. After being tight-lipped for about three months, finally, they announced that it is releasing the downloadable content (DLC) of "No Man's Sky," which is titled Foundation Update.

The Foundation Update brings necessary tweaks to improve the gameplay, according to Kotaku. This has caused players' expectations to soar once more, believing that the update may bring out a better sense of challenge and vigor.

One of the most noticeable changes that the Foundation Update has applied to "No Man's Sky" is the allocation of resources that are reportedly scarcer than before. The publication noticed Plutonium has become more difficult to find, but it certainly has become challenging for gamers. Furthermore, the pace of the game slowed down.

The changes in the user interface (UI) are also commended while the melee + jump attack is kept intact. Other observed revamps are the changes in the players' planets, the possibility of interacting with the game while "Journey Milestone Complete" is in progress.

There are avid players who also shared some tips on how to go about the "No Man's Sky's" Foundation Update, including the importance of having a good relationship with the Fauna, being friends with several animals that will gain perks such as blueprints, rare elements, and tools, among others.

One good trick is to build a number of Atlas Passes in order to unlock more doors. These passes are easy to acquire as long as the players follow the storyline. There are also other materials available in case some players miss the start of the game.

Other smart tips include learning a new language, the melee + boost button to run faster, upgrading the exosuits and others. More tips can be found here.
