'No Man's Sky' Xbox One release date rumors 2016: Hello Games might release 'No Man's Sky' for Xbox One
At long last, the much anticipated intergalactic adventure video game "No Man's Sky" was released last week for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms. There is a good sign that there are plans, at least, to have "No Man's Sky" playable using the Xbox One.
In the past several months, creator Hello Games has been busy developing and promoting their latest offer to gamers, and so far, the result of their hard work shows. However, many gamers, especially those who use the Xbox One console, wonder if "No Man's Sky" will ever be released for other platforms.
In Daily Star's interview with Hello Games top executive Sean Murray, he was asked if their latest video game project will eventually be released for non-Sony home consoles such as the Xbox One. With this pressuring interrogation during the Sony PlayStation's panel, Murray only responded that he was not sure with what he was "actually allowed to say."
Sony was reported to have skipped this hard question right away. Nevertheless, this can be seen as an indication that Hello Games has plans of releasing the game outside Sony's realm. However, it is not easy to announce this because Sony's marketing team has been working hard to promote "No Man's Sky" as an exclusive title for the PlayStation.
On the other hand, a tidbit from the NeoGAF gaming forum suggests that Hello Games may have been, at one point, ready to release "No Man's Sky" for the Xbox One. This is because Hello Games is said to have acquired the rights to use the advanced Havok Physics technology in developing a more realistic gaming experience. This game developer software will work not only for the PC and PlayStation 4 but also for the Xbox One.
