Nvidia PC Gaming Revival Kit news and update: encourages lapped PC users to upgrade; bundle not for promo purposes
It seems like Nvidia will not stop in giving new products to the gamers and tech enthusiasts. This time, several reports claim that that the company is offering a bundle of products to keep the gamers stay on par with the latest components. This is called the PC Gaming Revival Kit.
The Nvidia PC Gaming Revival Kit is reportedly focused on the European and Spanish markets. In a report by VideoCardz, the bundle carries a Corsair Force Series LE 240GB solid-state drive (SSD), an MSI GeForce GTX 1060 3GT OC Twin Frozr graphics card and a power supply of Corsair CX450M. It is priced at €399, or about $414.
"PC Gaming Revival Kit will transform your computer into a real Gaming PC because it combines the best components to bring it to the next level, making start at an incredible speed, allowing you to enjoy graphics that have never experienced and properly functioning safety," wrote Nvidia.
Nvidia has also practiced generosity by giving a copy of "Gears of War 4" for players of Windows 10. However, according to the publication, the bundle does not necessarily give customers a low-price opportunity, based on the individual price of each component.
- MSI GTX 1060 3GT OC — €229 (about $238)
- Corsair Force Series LE 240 SSD — €77 (about $80)
- Corsair CX450M — €51 (about $53)
- Gears of War 4 (in Germany) — €45 (about $47)
Adding the prices up, the total price is about €400 ($415), obviously implying that the bundle is not meant for promotion, but for PC owners to upgrade their system.
Tech Radar wrote that the company seems to be reaching out to gamers who have not upgraded their PCs for the last several years. This may opt such PC owners to upgrade their gadget, but they may probably have no idea which parts are still compatible with their device, considering that they have been lapped for a long time.
