The second half of "Once Upon a Time" season 6 returns this March, and a musical episode might be on the horizon. Meanwhile, Jennifer Morrison, who plays lead character Emma Swan, might not return for a seventh season.

TV Line reports that there are talks that "Once Upon a Time" season 6 might be brewing up a musical episode for its second half. Although it is not yet been confirmed, series co-creator Eddy Kitsis previously mentioned at the 2015 Comic-Con that a musical episode would be a great idea.

Morrison also shared with E! Online that a musical episode is highly possible because all of the cast members sing.

"We all sing. Josh Dallas, Ginny Goodwin, me. I don't know if Robert Carlyle sings. He probably does. I feel like we have a lot of musically inclined people in the cast," Morrison shared.

Series co-creator Adam Horowitz also shared on Twitter the title for episode 15 which could be hinting at a musical theme. The title, "A Wondrous Place," is a line that Jasmine sang from the "Aladdin" hit song "A Whole New World," and it just opens opportunities for the cast members to belch out their singing voices.

Meanwhile, Morrison might not be returning for another season if "Once Upon a Time" happens to continue beyond season 6.

Morrison shared with Will Malnati on his podcast, "The Drop-In," that "My contract ends in April on 'Once Upon a Time.' I don't know what that means. They haven't picked up the show officially yet — they might, they might not."

The actress added that they are still waiting for the ABC's decision whether to bring "Once Upon a Time" to season 7 and if they will ask for the current cast members to reprise their roles, Hollywood Life confirmed.

"Once Upon a Time" season 6 returns on March 5.
