'One Piece' chapter 844 air date, spoilers: Fight ensues between Luffy and Sanji?

"One Piece" chapter 844 could see Sanji clashing with Luffy in the aftermath of Luffy's battle with Cracker and Sanji's escape from his wedding with Pudding.

In the previous chapter of the popular Japanese manga, Luffy defeated Cracker and his army of biscuit soldiers. The Straw Hat captain managed to overcome the seemingly never-ending onslaught of soldiers by using his Gear Four Tankman attack. He also got some help from Nami.

After that long battle, Luffy continued his search for Sanji, who was to be wed to Lady Pudding. But it now appears that while Luffy has finally found Sanji, their reunion will not be a joyful one.

In "One Piece" chapter 843, Luffy was excited to have finally caught up with Sanji, but the latter did not share the former's joy. Sanji was too worried about what could happen if he decides to skip his wedding to Pudding. Surprisingly, he began taunting Luffy and said that he no longer has to return to his life as a pirate because he is about to be come a prince. Luffy was taken aback by Sanji's outburst.

After this, fans speculate that "One Piece" chapter 844 could find the tension between Luffy and Sanji escalating. Because Luffy is unaware of what happened between Sanji and his family, he may start thinking that Sanji didn't want to be saved and wants, instead, to be wed to Pudding. Luffy and Sanji could then begin fighting.

A source says that a battle between the two may not be such a bad thing, as it would give Sanji a chance to explain where he is coming from. The two could then come up with a plan to get around Sanji's predicament.

Another source adds that the fight between the two will only end when Luffy realizes that Sanji is only trying to save Zeff's life, as well as the lives of the Straw Hats.

There is also a suggestion that Big Mom will go wild after hearing about Cracker's defeat and that she will want Luffy's head. This could result in the Vinsmokes fighting alongside Sanji and a war igniting between the Vinsmokes and the Charlottes.
