'One Piece' episodes 769, 770 spoilers: Quest for the four Road Poneglyphs begins; will Luffy finally become Pirate King?
Inside the whale-shaped tree, all sort of things come to light, one of which is a valuable information that breathed new life into the Straw Hat Pirates' ultimate goal. Is their captain, Luffy, finally close to becoming the next Pirate King?
Episode 769 of the Japanese anime series "One Piece" revealed that the Guardians of Zou Island, Nekomamushi and Inuarashi, have been guarding a red poneglyph inside the whale-shaped tree. This was only one of four Road Poneglyphs that are believed to hold the key to finding Raftel, the island at the end of the Grand Line, and the Straw Hat Pirates' final destination.
The catch is that the Road Poneglyphs themselves do not point to the exact whereabouts of Raftel, but are instead guides to finding four separate locations that will ultimately lead to where Raftel really is. It just so happens that one of these red poneglyphs is in Whole Cake Island, where Luffy will be headed next to retrieve his friend, Sanji, before focusing all his efforts on finding the rest of the Road Poneglyphs.
The minks' and the Kouzuki clan's connection to the poneglyphs will also be explained in episode 768 appropriately titled, "The Secret of the Land of Wano! The Kozuki Family and the Poneglyphs!" which is scheduled to air on Sunday, Dec. 25, at 9:30 a.m. Japan time on Fuji TV.
The series will take a one week break afterward, and will return next year on Sunday, Jan. 8, with episode 771 titled "A Man's Vow – Luffy and Kozuki Momonosuke."
In other news, manga creator, Eiichiro Oda, will reportedly be supervising the upcoming third season of the popular live character show being performed at the Tokyo One Piece Tower theme park. It is expected to launch next year in spring after the current second season ends on April 9
