'One Punch Man' Season 2 air date, rumors, spoilers: Special announcement coming next month? Saitama loses his superhero capabilities
There have been reports in the past few months suggesting that the second season of hit anime series "One Punch Man" will be aired this year. As of the meantime, there are no confirmed reports yet regarding the release of the series' second chapter, although many fans are hopeful that "One Punch Man" Season 2 will arrive in the coming weeks or months.
The fans of the show may not have to wait longer for an announcement, as next month may finally have the important updates about "One Punch Man" Season 2. iTech Post reported that a special announcement is coming next month. This may coincide with the final episode of the English-dubbed episode reruns of "One Punch Man" Season 1. This announcement is said to reveal the latest info regarding the second season, specifically the tentative premiere date of the new "One Punch Man" chapter.
Nevertheless, the rumors are rife that the second season will be aired this October. This would match the earlier predictions that "One Punch Man" will return with new episodes during the last quarter of 2016.
Meanwhile, Game N Guide reported that the anime series' main hero, Saitama, may find himself in a dire situation as he will lose all of his superhero capabilities. Saitama is known to be one of the Earth's strongest beings, and the powerful villains such as Lord Boros are no match to his skills. Unfortunately, it is rumored that Saitama's devastating punches will no longer affect the hero's opponents. His punches will not deal even the slightest damage to one of the rumored Season 2 villains, Amai Mask.
A new character may also enter the picture and gain power as much as Saitama, and he may easily destroy the protagonist as he remains powerless. It is reported that Genos will take his place temporarily as Saitama looks for ways to restore his superhuman abilities.
