OnePlus 3 Oxygen 3.2.8 update news: OS improves camera features, Snapchat and more
OnePlus 3T gave the tech analysts a taste of innovation, earning great reviews from the crowd. However, the success comes with certain consequences like the news that the device's technologically forward features have left the older devices out, for instance, the OnePlus 3 OxygenOS 3.2.8 that offers another set of impressive features.
OnePlus is keen on keeping a good impression in the mobile market. Recent news has it that the company may abandon its older devices as it keeps on presenting new ones. Related to this news is the recent announcement about a firmware update for its flagship device, OnePlus 3, which is called OxygenOS 3.2.8.
OnePlus 3 OxygenOS 3.2.8 is made to improve the features that are already seen in the handset. Among the improvements is the rear camera's capability of shooting 60fps video in 1,080 pixels. For users in India, the OnePlus 3 OxygenOS 3.2.8 has an emergency call feature. This can be done be pressing the power button three consecutive times.
Other OnePlus 3 OxygenOS 3.2.8 features include an improved Snapchat, as it was previously reported that users experienced several lags when using the video-call function.
Aside from improving several apps, the OnePlus 3 OxygenOS 3.2.8 also fixes bugs and issues to prove the handset's general performance. On the company's blog post, it has acknowledged the feedback of the users.
"For those who were on previous versions for the OnePlus 3, we appreciate your active feedback and attempts to reach out to us," the company wrote. "With your help, we have been able to better optimize and improve several key areas," the post continued.
There is one main concern, though. The OnePlus 3 OxygenOS 3.2.8 update is still on Android 6.0 Marshmallow so users will have to wait for the Android Nougat to come with the operating system (OS). The company already announced that it will make Android 7.0 Nougat available for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T in December.
