Ahead of the Huayra Roadster's official debut at the 87th Geneva International Motor Show in March, Pagani Automobili has been releasing teasers of its upcoming open-top supercar. While not a lot has been revealed about the all-new high-performance vehicle, these little sneak peeks have been enough to whet the appetite of car enthusiasts.

A few days ago, Pagani released a new image on Facebook which previews the upcoming Huayra Roadster's engine. The teaser was accompanied by a message from Horacio Pagani, founder and CEO of Pagani Automobili, who said: "As we moved forward with the Roadster, we decided to give her a bit more of an edge in order to create a slightly more aggressive shape than the Huayra Coupé."

It has already been revealed that the supercar will be equipped with a powertrain from Mercedes-AMG, the high-performance division of Mercedes-Benz. The Huayra Roadster will use the same 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine seen in the Huayra Coupe. However, the teaser image features a slightly different design.

The open-top version's engine will also most likely be enhanced to deliver additional horsepower. Currently, the Huayra Coupe produces 720 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque. While performance numbers for the new vehicle have not yet been revealed, it is touted to become of the fastest open-top vehicles to ever be released.

To support this kind of performance, it has been revealed that the upcoming open-top supercar will utilize a carbon fiber chassis and an active aerodynamic system that is capable of adjusting the ride height.

It seems that in order to impress customers, Pagani is working hard to deliver something that is truly powerful and unique. Pagani previously teased that the Huayra Roaster is "the most complicated project" they have ever undertaken.
