'Patapon,' 'PaRappa the Rapper,' 'LocoRoco' news update: To be given remastered versions in 2017
The PlayStation Experience held recently gave a lot of surprises for the fans. Players can now look forward to a more fun future as the company announced their most recent game titles, as well as the classic musical titles like "Patapon," "ParRappa The Rapper" and "LocoRoco."
The three musical games are to be given their respective remastered version, which will be released sometime in 2017. However, the remastered versions will only be available for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) console. The three classic games can now be enjoyed at a high-definition output, plus many more additions related to them being revamped into having a modern feel.
Those who have been playing "Patapon," "PaRappa the Rapper" and "LocoRoco" should also know that their availability to PS4 follows the same offer that Sony has done to the console. They have also released a number of PS2 titles such as the hit "Grand Theft Auto," "Rogue Galaxy" and "Dark Cloud" for the PS4 console.
The games were given add-ons such as remote play, trophy support, live broadcast, active feed and share play to bring the games to a higher notch. Of course, the remastered versions also come with a 1,080p quality, which will be applied similarly to "Patapon," "PaRappa the Rapper" and "LocoRoco."
It is good to note though that "Patapon," "PaRappa the Rapper" and "LocoRoco" will also be given 4K support so as to make it compatible not only with PS4 but with the PS4 Pro as well. This will allow more players to enjoy the game at a modern take.
In an official blog by PlayStation, it has stated that the remaster of "PaRappa the Rapper" will have a DualShock 4 controller so that players can press the game buttons easier than before. "LocoRoco" will also have the same controller for better motion control. This will help LocoRoco characters bounce and tilt in their own animated environment.
