Although Sony has already confirmed its development, not many details have been provided by the company as of the moment. According to the latest reports, the upcoming device will feature 4K video support, which is currently nonexistent in any video gaming system on the market today. With its advanced graphic technology, Sony will certainly make the upcoming PlayStation 4.5 NEO VR ready. The new console will come out as a perfect match for Sony's current VR headset.

With all the excitement from many fans with regard to the console's upcoming release, some players express several concerns. According to tech observers, the possibility of the current PlayStation 4 to become obsolete is pretty big. However, Sony has already said that the release of PlayStation 4.5 NEO will not have a negative impact on the current console.

A new speculation has also emerged suggesting that the new system will arrive on Oct. 13. According to a listing from Amazon in Spain, the upgraded version of the PlayStation 4 will be sold at 400 Euros or around $442. If rumors prove to be true, fans will finally be able to discover what the new PlayStation 4.5 NEO has to offer on the table once it gets released on Oct 13.

Meanwhile, The Bit Bag recently reported that the new gaming console will run on an octa-core Jaguar processor, which could have a speed of 2.1 GHz. The publication added that the powerful processor will be paired with 8 GB of GDDR5 RAM.

For now, these reports have yet to be confirmed by Sony; however, fans believe that it is only a matter of time before the company provides concrete information regarding the new PlayStation 4.5 NEO.
