'PlayStation Plus' December 2016 Free Games list rumors: Titles like "Wolfenstein" and "Gravity Rush" included in list
The end of November comes with another batch of speculations on what free games Playstation Plus will be providing its subscribers. Last month, players got titles like "Everybody's Gone to Rapture" and "Costume Quest 2," and now fans are guessing what new games Sony will be giving fans for the holiday season.
Though no official list has been announced by Sony, thisgengaming.com has come up with a list of likely titles that could possibly make their way to the Free Games roster this December. Rumors have come out that a new "Wolfenstein" game is going to be released in 2017, so there is a good chance that Playstation Plus will offer "Wolfenstein: The New Order" for free.
Other than the fact that first-person shooter games have been getting some strong titles this year ("Titanfall 2," "DOOM," and "Battlefield 1"), it's said that "Wolfenstein," though a good game, did not get the attention that it deserved upon its release. Offering the game for free can provide a renewed interest in any upcoming "Wolfenstein" title that may come in the future.
Push Square on Youtube wants "Gravity Rush: Remastered" released on Playstation Plus this coming December because its sequel, "Gravity Rush 2," is underway. Like the reason with "Wolfenstein," a free release would do wonders with renewed interest in upcoming games.
Other titles rumored to be in the list are "Tearaway Unfloded," "N++" and "Knack." Push Square even guesses that Playstation may even offer "The Last Guardian," but it could be a bold move.
No official list or release date has been announced by Sony, but with only four days left until the end of November, it's possible that Playstation Plus subscribers will be given an announcement soon.
Some speculate that the free games for Playsation Plus subscribers will be downloadable by Dec. 6. Stay tuned for more updates.
