Only one more day to go until the first month of 2017 ends and February officially begins. With a new month comes a new line-up of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers this February 2017.

In January 2017, PlayStation Plus subscribers had the opportunity to download for free video game titles such as "Days of the Tentacle Remastered," "This War of Mine: The Little Ones," "Blazerush," "The Swindle," "Azkend 2," and "Titan Souls."

According to PlayStation Universe, the February 2017 free games list for PlayStation Plus subscribers is due to be announced very soon by Sony. Considering that Sony usually reveals its free games line-up on a Wednesday, it is believed that the official announcement will take place on Feb. 1.

There are no confirmed leaks regarding what game titles will be appearing in the PlayStation Plus's February free games lineup. However, there are speculations that some of the games that might appear in the list could be "Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China," "LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham," "Gravity Rush Remastered," "Alienation," and "Shadow Complex Remastered."

As previously reported, making "Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China" free for download this February could encourage gamers to download the two other side-scrolling spin-off games of the "Assassin's Creed" series which are set in India and Russia.

Considering that no "LEGO" title has graced the PlayStation Plus Free games list for the last two years, it may be the perfect time for Warner Bros. to make "LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham," the final game in the "LEGO Batman" franchise, downloadable for free for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

"Gravity Rush Remastered" is predicted to be included in the February lineup because its launch as a free game could help promote the recent launch of its game sequel, "Gravity Rush 2." "Alienation" is also a strong candidate to be included in the list, given its critical acclaim for its excellent RPG mechanics and addictive loot system.

With PlayStation Plus's reputation in releasing remastered games for free, "Shadow Complex Remastered," which was overhauled last May 2016, may also be made available for download for free this February.

The line-up of free PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita games is expected to be made available for download free of charge to PlayStation Plus subscribers on the PlayStation Store update scheduled on Feb. 7.
