PlayStation Plus February 2017 free games list rumors: 'Assassin's Creed Chronicles,' 'Gravity Rush Remastered' included in list?
Sony is expected to announce the list of free games for this coming February for PlayStation Plus subscribers sometime this week. Many have already speculated what possible titles will be made available for download for free in the coming month.
PlayStation Universe, in particular, released their own predictions on what games will probably appear in the February free games lineup. One of the games they predict will appear in the list is "Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China." Releasing the first of three side-scrolling spin-off games of Ubisoft's "Assassin's Creed" series may encourage gamers to purchase the two other games which are set in India and Russia.
Another game expected to appear in the February list of PlayStation Plus free games is "LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham." Considering that there has not been a LEGO title on the PlayStation Plus free games list for more than two years, it would be a good opportunity for Warner Bros. to dish out the final game in the "LEGO Batman" franchise.
"Gravity Rush Remastered" is also predicted to be included in the lineup. Its launch as a free game in February is considered to be a good opportunity to promote its game sequel, "Gravity Rush 2." "Alienation" is also a good potential addition to the PlayStation Plus February game list, especially since it has received rave reviews from critics for having excellent RPG mechanics and addictive loot system.
"Shadow Complex" was given a visual overhaul last May 2016. Given PlayStation Plus's reputation for releasing remastered games for free, "Shadow Complex Remastered" may also be made available for free in the coming month.
In January 2017, the free games provided for PlayStation Plus subscribers include "Day of the Tentacle Remastered," "This War of Mine: The Little Ones," "Blazerush," "The Swindle," "Azkend 2," and "Titan Souls."
The February lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus is expected to be made available for download from the PlayStation Network starting in the first week of February.
