Other games that are expected to make it on the list are "Infamous: Second Son," "God of War 3" and "Gran Turismo 5."
Meanwhile, many fans are also expecting Sony to provide concrete details about the upcoming PlayStation 4 NEO during the free games announcement. There are heavy speculations that the new console will finally come out during the holiday season this year.
In a report by Gamespresso , Paul Raines, GameStop CEO, may have hinted the release date window of the upcoming gaming system.
"Yes, there will be a new Nintendo console launch in March 2017," Raines said during the interview. "But remember, there are two different form factors: a PS4 Neo and an Xbox One new slim version. So there will be some activity and upgrades, along with the VR."
However, the PR team of GameStop immediately released an official statement about the issue.
"Paul did not say that Xbox One S and PlayStation Neo hardware units would be coming for the holidays. The anchor was the one who referenced the holiday period," the statement reads, as reported by Gamespresso.
