PlayStation Plus games for July 2016 may include big suspense titles
Every month, loyal PlayStation users get a few games for free as long as they are subscribed to PlayStation Plus.
To those who do not know, PlayStation Plus is a paid service that allows users to have different perks in their games, such as the ability to play online and download content from game developers and Sony themselves.
Part of the prestige of being a PS Plus member is the access to a few games free for download for a month. For PlayStation 4, there are normally two games available, same with PlayStation 3.
For their handheld PSP or PS Vita, two games are given out for free as well.
With this piece of information always met with so much anticipation, many have been speculating on what new games may come their way for the month of July.
June has already been a big month for free games by PlayStation, with titles like "NBA 2K16" and "Gone Home: Console Edition" offered for PlayStation 4 users.
PlayStation 3 players are given "Echochrome" and "Siren: Blood Curse (Episodes 1-12)," while PS Vita users have "God of War: Chains of Olympus" and "Little Deviants."
Now, there are various rumors suggesting that a suspense/thriller game may be free for download on PS4 this July.
Two titles have been the strongest contenders, "The Evil Within" and "Resident Evil 6," which are both popular survival-horror games.
They are yet to be revealed, but with talks on the PlayStation message board being strong and oftentimes correct, it is possible that fans will see these free for download soon.
As for the other consoles, fans agree that there may be smaller releases and less-known titles for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. This move may be to push users to upgrade their consoles and lean towards getting the PS4.
Regardless of the titles, the anticipation has always been high and getting big titles and free games will make fans happy regardless of consoles they currently have.
