PlayStation Plus January 2017 free games list rumors: 'Titanfall 2,' 'Gravity Rush 2' exclusive PS Plus demo to be offered?

PlayStation has released the final list of free games for PlayStation Plus members for 2016, and gamers are already anticipating what titles will be on the free games list for January 2017.

Gamers who availed of the PlayStation Plus are entitled to exclusive benefits such as online connectivity with friends, free games, special sales, and large discounts of up to 80 percent. In terms of free games, PlayStation releases a list every month announcing which titles Plus members are entitled to avail for free.

PlayStation recently announced that "Invisible, Inc.," "Stories: Path of Destinies," "Hyper Void," "Tiny Troopers Joint Ops," "Color Guardians," and "VVVVVV" are the titles available for free for PlayStation Plus in the month of December this year.

A year of free games has come to an end, and Plus members are already looking forward to their exclusive treats for 2017. According to Video Games Republic, "Titanfall 2," "Gravity Rush 2," and "Saints Row 4" are among the predicted free games this coming January.

Created by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts, "Titanfall 2" is a first-person shooter video game that revolves around a soldier named Jack Cooper who is determined to become a pilot of a large mecha called Titan. "Titanfall 2" has garnered a lot of positive reviews because of its game design and level difficulty.

Meanwhile, "Gravity Rush 2" is an action-adventure video game developed by SIE Japan Studio which will be released in January 2017. It features gravity control into its gameplay, affecting the protagonist's attack towards her opponents. It is said that in anticipation of its launch, PlayStation will offer a PS Plus exclusive free demo for the upcoming game.

On the other hand, "Saints Row 4" is an open world action-adventure game that follows the leader of a street gang known as the "3rd Street Saints."

Other predictions for PlayStation Plus free games in 2017 are "Ratchet & Clank," "Rayman Legends," and "Knack," according to iTechPost.
