PlayStation Plus November 2016 free games list news, update: 'Everybody's Gone to the Rapture,' 'The Deadly Towers of Monsters' free on PS4 starting Nov. 1

There are only a few days left for the month of October, which means it is time for the PlayStation Plus subscribers to prepare for a new list of free game titles next month. Many players are hoping that the next game titles to replace the October lineup will be huge and exciting, especially for those who are still enjoying the current lineup for free.

It may be too early to judge whether the new lineup of free games is worthy to replace those from this month's list. Nevertheless, PS Plus members can look forward to six new video games, with some probably sounding new to most players. Two free games will be given to each major PlayStation platforms, namely the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Starting on November 1, the PS Plus members will be looking at a totally different library of free games, so it would be better for those still hooked on October's "Resident Evil" and "Transformers: Devastation" to enjoy them as much as possible while there is still time. Still, they might find the upcoming free games thrilling as well, starting with "Everybody's Gone to the Rapture" and "The Deadly Tower of Monsters," which will be available on PS4.

The new PS4 game titles sound like a perfect treat for a post-Halloween atmosphere. Particularly, "Everybody's Gone to the Rapture" is the latest entry from The Chinese Room, known for creating video games with chilling and ambient storytelling like "Dear Esther" and "Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs." 

As listed by Game Rant, the other free games for the month of November include "Dirt 3" and "Costume Quest 2" as PS3 exclusive games, "Letter Quest Remastered" which will be playable on both PS4 and PS Vita, and "Pumped BMX+" that will be available on all three PlayStation gaming platforms.

Earlier rumors suggested that Ubisoft's "Watch Dogs" would finally be included in the free games list this November, as part of the promotion for the upcoming "Watch Dogs 2." Many PS Plus members have been looking forward to this since the previous lists were predominantly indie games. Unfortunately, it might not be the right time to see more AAA game titles in PS Plus.
