Superhero squads of "Powerpuff Girls" and "Teen Titans Go!" will find themselves in a crossover on Cartoon Network this June. The trio will be dropping by Jump City to fight side-by-side with the Teen Titans. The two groups of crime fighters will also find themselves in a "good-natured competition" against each other to be able to see which superhero team is "better."

"Jump City will never be the same when our little superheroes Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup meet up with the Teen Titans for the very first time. When these two worlds of superheroes collide, it will surely be something to remember," "Powerpuff Girls" executive producer Nick Jennings said, as reported by USA Today.

The story arc which will tangle the worlds of the two troops of young superheroes will come about when perennial "Powerpuff Girls" antagonist Mojo Jojo will try and spread terror in the young Titans' territory, Jump City. Teen Titans Beast Boy and Cyborg, who both have no prior knowledge of the wicked plans and motives of Mojo Jojo, will find themselves drawn to the evil monkey and think of him as one "cool" monkey. Seeing how unsuspecting the Teen Titans will be of his identity, Mojo Jojo will carry on with his scheming.

As the plot will unfold and Mojo Jojo's plotting will be unveiled, the Powerpuff Girls and the Teen Titans will then join forces and hand-in-hand stop the conniving monkey just in time to save the Titans' town.

Meanwhile, "Teen Titans Go!" producer Aaron Horvath teased about an imminent "good-natured competition" between the "Powerpuff Girls" and the teen Titans. Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup will be in a friendly superhero contest with Starfire, Raven and Robin in order to determine which one of their groups is "better."

Horvath further remarked that the upcoming crossover will be really exciting and enjoyable and in a very organic manner and that the production teams behind the animations had a great time putting the Jump City superheroes and the Townsville superheroines together in a show.
