Jenna Marshall (Tammin Sursok) will be having a very significant involvement in the upcoming season of "Pretty Little Liars" in such a way that The Liars, or the show's fans at that, will be least expecting.

"Pretty Little Liars" fans have not had a glimpse of Jenna since the Masquerade Ball in the fifth season, and that makes her return an incident which can be expected to have a major impact on The Liars' lives and the show's story arc as a whole.

After all, Jenna's absence during the past season hardly brought in closure or peace but instead only left the many curious questions involving her unanswered. There are questions on the real deal with her eye surgery, on her connections with Sydney (Chloe Bridges) and Melissa (Torrey DeVitto), and on her involvement with the Nos Animadverto Totus (N.A.T.) club. All these and more have yet to be resolved.

Hence, it is no surprise that Sursok's character has always been one of the main suspects of being the actual identity behind "A." Jenna has been used to this accusation since her mysterious first appearance in season 1.

In her interview with Teen Vogue, Sursok said that her character will be very "heavily involved" with The Liars in the season 7 storyline.

She also shared her thoughts about Jenna. Sursok believes that her character has never been the villain, an identity with which many have always associated Jenna. Jenna has been the victim for the longest time and her comeback just means that she acquired a sense of herself and much more courage to stand up and fight for her sake. Season 7 will mean payback for Jenna.

Sursok understands the two extreme ends of reception toward Jenna. She knows that it is either that some "Pretty Little Liars" fans love her or the rest of them hate her, and that there is not a neutral feeling in between. In season 7, viewers will learn more of Jenna's character and the motivations and motives behind her rather mysterious and sometimes annoying actions. Fans will find the answers to the questions they have been wondering about.

Meanwhile, "Pretty Little Liars" already released the official trailer for season 7 and it proves to be exciting and at the same time frightening. The clip highlights a vulnerable and endangered Hanna (Ashley Benson) whose near lifeless and bruised body is being dragged in a dark place. Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Aria (Lucy Hale) and Emily (Shay Mitchell) will be together in an all-out rescue mission.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 7 is reportedly the final season of the mystery thriller. It will premiere on June 21 on Freeform.
