The release date for the Rockstar Games' upcoming video game "Red Dead Redemption 2" is confirmed to be within this coming fall.

Game publisher company Rockstar Games is known for going dark whenever it announces the existence of an upcoming game title, and "Red Dead Redemption 2" is no different. However, gaming fans and enthusiasts, as always, refuse to remain in the dark for very long, so they gather and share as much information as they can find about the upcoming video game.

Just this week, a photo of a promo stand of "Red Dead Redemption 2" has been circulating online, particularly on Twitter. Not much can be gleaned from the shared photo, even after fans have thoroughly studied the image to gather whatever possible detail there is to know. The only major detail worthy of note on the promo stand is the game's release date, which is indicated as "Autumn 2017."

According to iTech Post, this means "Red Dead Redemption 2" is going to be released sometime between September and December of this year. The scheduled launch date of the video game is deemed to be earlier than anticipated, considering Rockstar Games usually takes their time when developing one of their major projects.

For example, "Grand Theft Auto 5" was originally intended to be released in early 2013, only to be delayed until the fall of the same year.

However, considering that the first "Red Dead Redemption 2" teaser was launched only a few months earlier and that the game is set to be released before the end of 2017, it seems game studios like Bethesda have decided to shorten the gap between game announcement dates and release dates to avoid discouraging the fans and to sustain their excitement and anticipation, according to Game Rant.

The much-awaited "Red Dead Redemption 2" video game is scheduled to be distributed sometime in the fall of 2017 for gaming consoles such as the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
