'Red Dead Redemption 2' release date rumors and news: Sequel to make its way to E3?
The Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 has just kicked off at the Lost Angeles Convention Center. Several video games are expected to be announced at the event including the much awaited "Red Dead Redemption 2." Rumor has it that Game Developer Rockstar Games is planning to confirm the development of the second installment of the open world, western action-adventure video game series at the event.
"Red Dead Redemption 2" has been a favorite subject of numerous rumors and speculations all over the Internet for a few years now. The rumors have remained rampant despite the continued silence of the company with regard to its development and release date. The first installment was released six years ago and the recent leaks and speculations suggest that this year might be the best time the company launches the highly anticipated game.
Previous reports about the title that surfaced online came with a screenshot, which according to video game observers came from the sequel. According to PlayStation Lifestyle, "Red Dead Redemption 2" has been pulled out from From Sony's E3 press conference. The Japanese Electronic company denied any rumor that the second installment of the "Red Dead Redemption" franchise will be announced during its presser.
There are also speculations suggesting that Rockstar Games and its parent company Take-Two Interactive are planning to announce the game's sequel at this year's E3 event. However, due to the recent shooting incident in Orlando Florida, both companies have decided not to go through with it out of respect for the families who lost their loved ones.
