'Red Dead Redemption' DLC 'Undead Nightmare' currently available on PlayStation Now
Rockstar Games announced that the next expansion of "Red Dead Redemption," titled "Undead Nightmare," will be out for PlayStation Now on Dec. 6. The expansion is part of Rockstar Games' partnership with Sony.
"We are pleased to announce that PS4 players get first access to earn select online content in the vast open world of 'Red Dead Redemption 2,'" reads the post on PlayStation blog.
The partnership was pursued to introduce the highly anticipated sequel, "Red Dead Redemption 2," as this will be the first time that the original title will be out on PC. It can be recalled that PlayStation Now was made available for PC just this year.
The move has made all PC players happy as there will be more than 400 games available to be streamed on PC, which was solely offered on Sony platforms. However, it is good to take note that PlayStation Now can only be accessed by the players in selected countries.
"Red Dead Redemption 2" ("RDR 2" for short) was announced by Rockstar Games this year, ending the rumors that the game publisher is more focused on developing "Grand Theft Auto VI." Now that "RDR 2" is in the works, Rockstar Games have consistently given out teasers of the title on their social media pages.
"RDR 2" is slated for an autumn release in 2017. The debut trailer has already been out and it promises an interesting gameplay that all "RDR" players will appreciate.
The trailer features seven men riding their horses, which is also the same group that was spotted in the game reveal artwork. "RDR 2" also brings together both multiplayer and single player components.
"An epic tale of life in America's unforgiving heartland, the game's vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience," the game description reads.
More details about PlayStation Now and "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be out soon. Be sure to stay tuned.
