'Resident Evil 7: Biohazard' release date news 2016: Game demo now available for PlayStation Plus members
"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" has been one of the favorite subjects of rumors and speculation circulating all over the internet for quite some time now. With the recent announcement of the game's release date, Sony has also revealed that the survival horror game will become available on the upcoming PlayStation VR. The Japanese electronics manufacturer has already released a demo of the game, which is available globally.
According to reports, game developer Capcom is celebrating the 20th year anniversary of the franchise. The first title of the series came out in March 1996 and the company has promised fans to give an exciting "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" once the game hits the market. The seventh installment of the series will come out early next year and fans could no longer wait to experience it. Previous reports say that Capcom has already revealed to fans that the next installment of the series will feature a new storyline.
During an interview with PlayStation Lifestyle, game producer Masachika Kawata revealed some of the gameplay details of "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard." Kawata explained that gamers will have the opportunity to play the role of an ordinary character placed in a very horrific situation.
The goal of the company is to make sure players will experience the game in a different way and look at it in another perspective.
"Both myself and the director, Mr. Nakanishi, felt if we want people to experience horror and experience it in the most direct, visceral way possible, then literally putting yourself in the position of seeing what the character sees is the best way to do that and so it was our motivation for the first-person camera change," Kawata explained.
Meanwhile, the demo of the game dubbed as "Beginning Hour" is already available. Report are circulating that it has already broke records as it is being downloaded 2 million times across the world. The demo is only available to PlayStation Plus members, which make the feat more remarkable.
