Barbara (played by April Billingsley) is giving up her will to live after "returning" following her mysterious disappearance in this Sunday's episode of "Resurrection" which aired Sunday on ABC.

As to who caused her mysterious disappearance, viewers quickly learn that newly returned Margaret (Michelle Fairley) is actually evil and that she was responsible for Barbara's disappearance.

After discovering that Barbara had spent the night with Fred (Matt Craven) , Margaret makes Barbara believe that Fred and his family do not want her back. She then held Barbara responsible for Jacob's drowning since he jumped into the water to save her. Margaret explains that Barbara was "returned" as a form of punishment.

As Barbara gives up her will to live, she disappears and leaves Margaret sitting by herself on the bench. Meanwhile, in the clinic where she works Maggie, Barbara's daughter, finds that her mother's blood has disappeared from the vials.

Viewers over the past two episodes have gotten more glimpses as to who Margaret really is as she slowly turns into a villain. She seems to have encountered the "returned" in the 1930's and discovers that she failed to get rid of them even after they were shot and hanged. She finds out that the only way to stop them from returning is to burn them.

In the last episode titled "Will," Agent Martin Bellamy (Omar Epps) was seen sick with the virus that has afflicted the returned who have left town.

in the upcoming episode titled "Afflictions," Bellamy is going to turn to his government contact for help to deal with his illness. Also he is going to make a series of crazy decisions which could lead to him learning something shocking about his past life, namely that he was dead for a long time and that his memory is fake.

Meanwhile people around Margaret are going to start realizing that she has something evil planned for those who have returned.
