'Revenge' Season 4 Spoilers, Plot Rumors: Victoria, Emily Grieve Over Daniel's Death, But Could It Bring Them Closer Together?

Fans were shocked at the death of Daniel Grayson (Joshua Bowman) in the last episode of "Revenge" Season 4. This could signal something more shocking: Could his death bring Victoria (Madeleine Stowe) and Emily (Emily VanCamp) together?

Daniel, who had to protect Emily Thorne to his death, will be making way for something unthinkable as confirmed by E! Online's spoiler chart: "After Daniel's death on #Revenge, will something change between Emily and Victoria? Or does their hate grow?"

Meanwhile, Emily will learn about the depth of his father's relationship with Victoria, "which is something that will help deepen her relationship with her father," according to Sunil Nuyar, showrunner for "Revenge."

In an interview with EW.com, Josh Bowman talked about his character and how he feels about his death. "Yeah, I loved it," he said. "I honestly think they executed it very well. I thought it wasn't too rushed and it wasn't too slow. It was just right. At the beginning of the season, people wouldn't be rooting for Daniel. I've seen a lot of things, 'Kill him off! Kill him off!' Now, they're like, 'No!'"

"Once something happens, people go, 'Well, he was actually a good guy.' That's a testament to the great writing on the show and how they engineered it. They redeemed him, which was good. I thought that was the only way he could go. He's always been this tragic character of this show. He's an innocent victim, who got wrapped up in this world because of his family and because of a woman," Josh said.

After a tragic death in the midseason finale, "Revenge" won't be returning to ABC until Jan. 4, 2015. We will soon see how Emily and Victoria will handle Daniel's death.
