'Riverdale' season 1 episode 7 spoilers: Cheryl finds out about Jason's baby; Jughead gets in trouble

Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) will find out about her twin brother's baby with Polly (Tiera Skovbye). Meanwhile, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) will find himself in deep trouble.

On the next episode of "Riverdale" season 1, Cheryl will find out about Jason's (Trevor Stines) baby with Polly. Although Cheryl has been blaming Polly for her twin brother's murder, she might change her perspective once she finds out that Polly is carrying her brother's unborn child. She might even do a good deed for Polly and her baby.

In an interview with TV Guide, Petsch shared that her character will have a big revelation in episode 7, titled "In a Lonely Place," regarding her twin brother.

"It's a pretty big episode for her to realize that she didn't know Jason as well as she thought she did. ... Cheryl's gonna be sad that Jason didn't tell her," Petsch explained.

Meanwhile, Jughead will be getting in big trouble to the point that he will need a lawyer.

As seen from the episode 7 promo, Jughead is trying to get his father back in shape. But later on, Jughead is being escorted to the police station for questioning. Episode 7 has yet to reveal what kind of trouble Jughead got himself into.

The upcoming episode will also touch on other issues, such as destroyed evidence from Jason's murder and Veronica's (Camila Mendes) conflict with Hermione (Marisol Nichols).

"When a major piece of evidence is mysteriously destroyed, new rumors begin to swirl as to who was really behind Jason's murder. Tensions build when Jughead's father returns to the fray and it's revealed that he and Fred (Luke Perry) have some unresolved issues between them. Meanwhile, Veronica takes matters into her own hands after her fight with Hermione," the episode's listing on The Futon Critic reads.
