'Rizzoli & Isles' season 7 episode 12 spoilers: Jane and Maura investigate 2 murders linked to Korsak?
The penultimate episode of "Rizzoli & Isles" season 7 will see Boston Homicide Detective Jane Rizzoli and Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Maura Isles investigating two murders linked to Jane's partner, Detective Vince Korsak.
Last Monday's episode titled "Stiffed" saw Jane (Angie Harmon) finally breaking the news to her mother Angela (Lorraine Bracco) that she took the teaching position at the FBI Academy at Quantico. Although Angela was saddened by the news, she knew well to support her daughter in this new undertaking.
The same episode saw Jane, Maura, Korsak (Bruce McGill), and Frankie (Jordan Bridges) investigating a John Doe, whose body was found inside a dead person's casket. It turns out John Doe is Sam Mason, the director of the funeral home.
The team's investigation led them to Kate, Sam's sister and partner in the family business. Apparently, Kate learned that Sam was planning to sell the business, so Jane and Korsak theorized that perhaps, Kate killed Sam before he could proceed with the sale. However, Kate had a strong alibi that debunked their theory.
Throughout the investigation, the police discover four more bodies covered in other people's gravesites. It was later on revealed that the recovered bodies were those of models whose photos bore the same background.
It turns out the murderer was the models' photographer, Eddie, a family friend of Sam and Kate. Apparently, he loves taking pictures of his victims while they are dying, and he convinced Sam to help him hide the bodies or he'll kill Kate. Sam agreed, but decided later on to just sell the business so he wouldn't have to help Eddie.
Monday's episode 12 titled "Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow," as mentioned in the get-go, will find Jane and Maura investigating two murders connected to Korsak. Check out the video below:
Futon Critic has shared the synopsis for the episode, which is part of a press release issued by TNT to promote it.
"Jane and Maura work to solve two murders – one from the past and one present day – that have deep personal connections for Korsak. As everyone prepares to move on with the next chapters of their lives: Jane gets a surprise visit that might lead to romance and Maura gets upsetting feedback on her novel."
In what way are the murders, one that happened in the past and one that happened at present, connected to Korsak? Is he in any way involved in the murders or did those involve people close to him?
What about Jane's surprise visitor? Who is he, and why could his visit lead to a possible romance for the feisty detective? In addition, how will the negative feedback on her novel affect strong-willed Maura?
The answers to those questions will be revealed when "Rizzoli & Isles" season 7 episode 12 airs on Monday, Aug. 29, at 9 p.m. EST on TNT.
