'Rocket League' news: patch notes 1.27 adds Utopia Coliseum; game is no. 1 in US and Europe

Sony recently released the official game charts on PlayStation Store and it appears that "Rocket League" is the champ in terms of US and European downloads. The game was released in 2015, but it has managed to climb to the top of the list.

Gamers believe that "Rocket League" is one of the biggest success stories in 2016, considering that the launch happened in 2015. Gamers from the United States and Europe obviously are fond of the game since the title is number one on their respective charts.

"Rocket League" was released in July 2015 and was made available for PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) members for free. This means the title retains its popularity with the players who were not able to see the original bargain. This resulted in the title able to beat other hit games such as "Call of Duty," "Overwatch," "Grand Theft Auto V" and others.

Following the success, the new "Rocket League" update 1.27 has been rolled out for PC, Xbox One and PS4. The update includes new additions, plus several bug fixes.

Update 1.27 has added the Utopia Coliseum and can now be seen in the Snow Day Playlist. There are also fixes applied to bugs such as the removal of the "GO!" counter in Custom Training, fixing the issue of players being jammed in the Replay Menu after erasing some replays, and repairing the Emoji entry on Xbox One which is not displayed in other cases, among others.
