'Rocket League' news, update: New Octagon Arena will be added to Rocket Labs playlist via September update
"Rocket League" players can expect additional contents in the video game with its upcoming September update. Latest reports reveal that a new arena will be added to the game, which will feature fresh and exciting updates in the Rocket Labs lineup. These new arenas have been teased by Psyonix just recently, and it made a lot of fans excited to try them out.
iDigital Times reported that the game developer company has released the images of three maps which will soon arrive in "Rocket League." One of the new arena is seen by the fans to be much bigger than the huge maps already existing in the video game. Although, a particular map called "Wasteland" is still quite larger due to it being intended for team activities.
While a larger playground for the gamers may sound exciting, it will also pose more challenges as well as there is a larger ground area for the players to defend when their opponents are coming to conquer their area. It will practice the players' teamwork and coordination in able for them to cover the large map effectively.
Specifically, the upcoming large map is an Octagon Arena, and it will be available exclusively on the Rocket Labs playlist. Aside from the new Octagon Arena, there are also other special maps that are coming next month. The new maps that will be included are actually different versions of the two maps already existing in "Rocket League," namely the Urban Central and the DFH Stadium. The variants of this two maps will be available in exhibition mode, private, and ranked matches.
"Rocket League" has amassed a huge number of players all over the world, and it has been an incredible run for Psyonix's latest project over the past few years to sustain the interest of its gamers with its unique thrilling race car and soccer experience. This year, the game studio has managed to refresh "Rocket League" with its recent updates and DLC releases. Video Gamer reported that the recent DLC last June has included the classic car models, Aftershock and Marauder, in the game. The two original cars from "Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars" sport the same appearance and capabilities, although Psyonix made their features contemporary to the present game.
