The Samsung Galaxy C9 is said to be like the Samsung Galaxy C5 | Samsung

The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro just got its permit by TENAA, the telecommunications authority in China, plus the WiFi certification from WiFi Alliance. The specs of the device have also been exposed on GFXBench.

The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will be out soon. This is evidenced by the fact that it already acquired certifications from TENAA and Wifi Alliance. Aside from this, GFXBench has leaked a device with specifications such as a 5.5-inch display with 1,920 ×1,080-pixel resolution.

To promise satisfactory performance, the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will come out with Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor with a reported clock of 2.2 GHz and 4 GB of random-access memory (RAM). The graphics feature is also promising due to the Adreno 506 graphics processing unit (GPU) installed in the smartphone.

Smartphone fans who are conscious of their device's storage features may want to check out the much-anticipated Galaxy C5 Pro as it is capable of storing more data with its 64 GB of internal storage. It is good to note though that only 53 GB of space can be used as the remaining 11 GB is allotted to the preloaded apps and the operating system (OS).

Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro also has an impressive 16-megapixel (MP) front camera and a 16 MP rear one. The device's connectivity features include GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth.

The other thing worth noticing is that Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro will still run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. However, since it is a new device, it is highly likely to be updated with the most recent Nougat OS. Other specs include a light sensor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope and a proximity sensor.

As for the release date, the device is expected to hit the shelves on Jan. 21, 2017, though Samsung has yet to announce the date. It is expected that the company will release the official details of Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro in the next couple of days.
